Group will perform at Terra SP, in São Paulo, on April 8; will be the third visit to the country and the first in more than three decades
Led by the formerSex pistols John Lydonthe PUBLIC IMAGE LTD (Pil) will perform a unique show in Brazil in 2026. The performance will take place on April 8, at Terra SP, in São Paulo.
Tickets are for sale online at the Fastix website. In the first lot, the values are R $ 240 (half) and R $ 250 (solidarity) for track, and R $ 290 (half) and R $ 300 (solidarity) for cabin. Anyone can buy solidarity ticket by donating 1 kg of non -perishable food at the venue.
Public Image Ltd’s show in Brazil – third in the group’s career and first since 1992 – is part of “This is not the Last Tour” (“This is not the last tour”), which began in May 2025 in Bristol (United Kingdom) and has already undergone festivals such as Forever Now Festival, Rebellion Festival and Putting The Fast in Belfast.
The excursion happens after John Lydon believed the band would no longer excuse. Her longtime friend and businessman, John Rambo Stevens, died suddenly after the last PIL tour in December 2023, shortly after the death of Lydon’s wife, Nora, in April 2023. At that time, the artist thought his tour days had ended.
However, he stated that he was impressed by the love and support of the fans during his SpoKen-Word tour of the UK previously held this year. At the time, Lydon said:
“What happened is that people were incredibly positive, and they asked me to get excited with Pil again. With so many people asking, and knowing how much the band means to them, I couldn’t just stay on my couch without touring – no matter how tempting it was.”
About Public Image Ltd
John Lydon formed Public Image Ltd after the breaking of Sex Pistols. The group was active from 1978 until 1992, when it began a 17 -year gap. The return took place in 2009. The latest release is the album End of World, made available in August 2023.
In addition to John Lydon on vocals, today’s pil is Lu Edmonds (Known as guitarist of The Damned In the late 1970s – guitar, keyboards, backing vocals and other instruments such as sax, banjo), Scott Firth (bass, keyboards, backing vocals) and Mark Roberts (battery since 2025).
