The President of the State of the Liberal Party of Pernambuco, Anderson Ferreira, defined the Vice Colonel Federal Meira on Wednesday 1 October as the new President of the PL in Recife.
The measure was announced after meeting the national president of the subtitle, Valdemar Costa Neto, who met to align the strategies to strengthen the acronym in the state.
Currently, the PL has five state deputies and four federal deputies and aims to further expand its representativeness and guarantee greater capillarity in all regions.
“It is with great honor and feeling of mission, that we accept the challenge to preside over PL Recife. I want to thank my national president, Valdemar from Costa Neto, and my President of State Anderson Ferreira. The struggle is great, but the desire to work is even bigger. We are together!” The parliamentarian wrote on social networks.

Anderson Ferreira spoke of the sentence of former President Jair Bolsonaro in the Federal Supreme Court.
Bolsonaro was sentenced last Thursday 11 September, at 27 years and 3 months for crimes of: armed criminal organization, attempted violent abolition of the state of democratic law, coup, damage qualified by violence and serious threat against the activities of the Union, with considerable damage to the victim and deterioration of the overturned activities.
For Anderson, the reason for the process would have “political character”. The politician recalled that three of the five first class ministers, who ordered Bolsonaro, are close to the current government.
Flávio Dino and Cristiano Zanin, former minister of the current government and personal lawyer of Lula, and Moraes, who was appointed by Temer and maintains the proximity to President Lula.
“The process of the former president Jair Bolsonaro and presumably involved in the so -called plot of the coup in the Supreme Court have clarified the political character of the case. Of the five members of the Court who participated in the trial, one is a former minister of the current government, another was a personal and formal lawyer of the President of the Republic and the Republic.
