What are you talking about?

For twenty -four hours in Steve’s life, a school principal who struggles to maintain his students properly. When he discovers that his facility is closed, it leads to a shooting group to make it difficult to capture the living conditions of these young boys.

Does this deserve a look?

I told you about it just a few weeks ago. Steve, an independent film, came to Netflix today on a katim, exactly what was expected from him: a strong, intimate, unpretentious drama that brought us tears.

Adaptation of Max Porter by the award -award novel is carried out by Steve with a spectacle of Murphy (sometimes very grace). The Irish actor (saw Peak in blinds and in particular Nolan) chose this confidential project after the success of Oppenheimer, as if to escape the huge habitar around the blockbuster and return to necessity.

It includes angular teacher shoes that has just learned about the closest closure of his school. Her character, under the tension (just like we) throughout the movie, because she has a lot of management, hides injuries and trauma itself.

The camera that leaned over his shoulder looks at the movies as close as possible. We are captive with his clear eyes and sadness there. Although these young people have difficulty helping, the Steve wall takes. And the reality of the situation makes it strongly, very strong.

If we welcome the performance of Murphy, we also need to celebrate the rest of the distribution work, whether there will be proven actors – Emily Watson and Tracey Ulman – or young actors, whose first role is for some. But the one who publishes the game is undoubtedly Jay Lycurgus (Titans). The latter performs a teenager who is suffering from serious depression.

He and Steve eventually are two sides of the same play, and the film is built on this parallelism. One needs the other, but they deny each other. The emotional power that emerges from the film and the relationship between these two characters, reaching its climax in the final scene, has been touched at will.

If the feature film does not open the scenes of violence and the realization sometimes makes us think, we are only conducting the intellectual path that discusses the subject of depression here.

We are almost sorry that Netflix has not contributed to Steve in France, especially since it comes out of the Monster’s 3 seasons. But he is almost convinced that the film will benefit from a wonderful word. And he deserves it.

Steve to see on Netflix.
