Guitarist says he is still undergoing cancer and needs to remove temporarily, but guarantees his participation in the shows in South America

The guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs will be out of the next shows of the Oasis in Asia and Oceania. The band fulfills a series of eight dates in South Korea, Japan and Australia between October 21 and November 8.

Despite his absence at this stage of the meeting tour, the musician secured his presence in the South American part. The final commitments of Giro this year take place in Argentina, Chile and Brazil, in the second half of November.

In a statement on the networks, Bonehead stated that his recent fight against prostate cancer prevents his participation in the performances mentioned. The artist guarantees that he is reacting well to treatment, but needs to follow a treatment

“At the beginning of the year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The good news is that I am reacting very well to treatment, which allowed me to be part of this amazing tour. Now I will give a planned interval for the next phase of my treatment, so I won’t be at the shows in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. If you are at this month’s shows and see you again with the band in November. ”

So far, Oasis has not spoken out about a possible substitute. In addition to Bonehead, there is Noel Gallagher and Archer on the guitars. The meeting tour had been the first to have three musicians on the instrument.
