Nicknamed “The Boucher de Plainfield”, Ed Gain is a serial killer who deeply denotes the criminal history of the United States, but also the imagination of its population. After the article was dedicated to his cultural heritage, we finally find the latest version of the character, which Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan are thrown.
And we’re not going to lie to you, we went out quite a shame!
What are you talking about?
In the frozen fields of the 1950s Campaign, friendly and reasonable recovery, Eddie Gain, lives peacefully in a ruined farm, which includes a real horror house, so much that he was going to repeat the American nightmare.
With isolation, psychosis, and aggravated mother -in -law, Gain and his perverse crimes have gave birth to a new type of monster that Hollywood has been planning for decades.
What do we like
Like the first two seasons, what is immediately strikes is the quality of casting. Not all actors have chosen the effort and ensure firm performance. Of course, Charlie Hunam is absolutely freezing, but we also created Joey Polar, actress Anthony Perkins Psychosis performer, was very well chosen to create the dark side of the actor.
The series also shines especially thanks to the atmosphere of work. Whether it is a set of care for accessories (sick), including light: the artistic direction really respects and allows the series to be distinguished.
He writes, some topics were pleasantly surprised. We thought that everything was already said about the character (very often adapted to the movie theater), but the writers are invented. We especially appreciated Ed Gain as a kind of modern Frankenstein’s idea of treating, obsessed corpses that seek to “create” death.
Which we like less
The “shocking” character of the series seemed a little pressing for us than in previous seasons, especially because the message this season is a little less clear.
The series dedicated to the dhmer has long been watching the racism and homophobia of the time, which deliberately reduced the gravity of the crimes and therefore allowed the killer to continue tracking the new predator (racist and homosexual). Horror scenes have only become more terrible for the viewer.
Menendez’s brothers told us about the different versions of the truth that was in the trial and would ask the audience how he saw the story we were telling. Some scenes were violent, yes, but they were just interpreting events.

In the case of Ed Gain, the violence of scenes in the series is not really in doubt, and therefore they look more “free” but also look less emotionally intense, and sometimes it drives us to understand where the authors should come. So it was less easy for us to start a history of ourselves.
Report
It’s already less than a series, and we can’t wait for what debate will cause it. For our part, we will obviously finish to see this weekend and see if our assumptions are shaken after history!
