From compatriot to the phases of the voice on SBT: Matheus and Kauan will debut like jurors

The duo Matheus and Kauan, known for successes such as “Lucky Ours”, “Our Holy Hit” and “I will have to overcome”, will debut as judge of Brazil 2025 in SBT. The debut will take place on 6 October.

With more than a decade of career, the Goiás brothers bring the baggage acquired to the country to the program. And promise to create a team with personality and emotion.

For the first time, the Brasil voice will have a sbt show and at the same time on Disney+. This therefore marks a new phase of reality. Matheus and Kauan join Mumuzinho, Duda Beat and Pericles as jurors, each with 12 candidates.

The country duo revealed that they want to use their experience on stage and studies to help candidates to stand out: “We want to share our experience, but also learn from the diversity of styles,” they said.

The program will be divided into four phases: blind auditions, battles, live shows and finals. Matheus and Kauan will have to choose voices only for hearing, without seeing the participants, and then create couples for musical battles.

The couple promises to bet on surprising tones and authenticities. In addition, the episodes will have the extra “+voice” content, with backstage and technicians analysis. The expectation is high to see how the backcountry will be out of this new mission.

In the middle of the year, Matheus experienced an unforgettable experience. He shared a special celebration on Instagram that he promoted for a couple on the beach. He published 6/12 a video of the exciting moment, which took place in João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba.

As he went by bicycle, the country singer noticed that a beach wedding was held.

So he had the idea of ​​asking the musician who commanded the ceremony to give the tone of the song “Our Holy Bate”, the duo with Kauan, and played him by surprise to the couple.

When the couple Bruno and Jessica signed the documents of the civil union, Matheus approached and began the improvised show. The bride recognized the singer’s voice, turned to him and also started singing.

Born on 04/04/1994, Matheus is from Itapuranga, in Goiás, as well as his older brother Kauan, born on 07/12/1988.

The brothers formed the country duo in 2010, the year in which they performed in the main phase of “Caldas Country”, an event in the city of Caldas Novas, Goiana Hydrothermal Resort.

At the time, they played copyright, including a theme composed above all for the Festival.

But before the success of the couple, Matheus was already a composer and had the songs recorded by Luan Santana, as well as Bruno and Marrone.

The first cd of the duo was financed by his mother, Sirlane Aleixo. He sold his car to make recording possible and realize his children’s dream. So they were hired by a label.

In 2013, they released the album live, “Mundo Paralelo”, who had special apparitions of well -known names of the genre, such as Jorge and Mateus, Michel Teló and Lun Santana.

The career of the duo of the new generation of his compatriot rose from the level in 2015, when the song “Lucky Our” achieved immense success.

At the time, the song had over 180 million views on the Internet and was reproduced on Radio Brazil.

In their career, Matheus and Kauan have already released eight albums: “Parachades”, “Parallel World”, “Face to face”, “Na Praia”, “On Praia 2”, “Intensally Today!”, “He has fashion for everything” and “10 years on the beach”.

The audiovisual project that celebrates the 15 years of career of the duo began to be launched in some parts during 2025. The main recording of the “surrounding” DVD took place in Sítio de Matheus in Hidrolândia (Go) and has released tracks since March.
