The “Sandman” series remained at the top of Netflix’s most-watched UK series for the second consecutive week. Over the course of the week, Neil Gaiman’s comic book adaptation had a staggering 127.5 million hours watched, 58 million more than when it premiered.
It is worth remembering, however, that the difference between the two weeks is also due to the time available for the attraction, since the numbers of the first week represented only the first three days of the exhibition. Only now has it been possible to measure the audience for an entire week (from 8 to 14 August) and the result only reinforces the attraction’s popularity.
The 2nd place went to the premiere of the 3rd season of the series “Eu Never …”, which totaled 55 million hours watched. The next was another season 3 premiere, this time of “Locke & Key”, running over 38 million hours.
Season 4 of “Stranger Things” continues to be successful, remaining at number 4 with 35 million hours. “Virgin River”, also in season 4, completes the Top 5, with 29.5 million hours watched.
Among other highlights, the “Manifest” series continues to generate marathons within the streaming service, appearing three times in the Top 10. While the attraction’s first season was in 6th place (with 28 million hours watched) , 2nd season is secured 9th place (18 million hours) and season 3 ranked 10th (18 million hours).
Rounding out the Top 10 are the debut of “I Just Killed My Dad” at number 7 (with 26 million hours) and “Breathe!” (Keep Breathing) at n. 8 (with almost 21 million hours).
Among the international highlights, South Korean legal drama “A Lawyer Extraordinary” closed another week in 1st place, with a staggering 69 million hours viewed. And the Brazilian “Bom Dia, Verônica” secured two positions in the international Top 10. Season 2 ranked 5th (with 12 million hours) and season 1 ranked 7th (with 9 million hours).
