The 73-year-old singer was unable to attend the premiere of his documentary, “The Sorrows of the World – Hyldon”, during the Rio Festival, but the film will have other screenings
The renowned artist Hyldonknown for songs like “Event“, “On the Street, in the Rain, on the Farm (Casinha De Sapê)” and “I would like to know“, he suffered a sudden illness while at his residence in Rio de Janeiro last Saturday, the 4th. After being taken to Clínica São Bernardo and undergoing several medical examinations, he was already released to return home.
Because of this, the singer was unable to be present at the first screening of his documentary “The Sorrows of the World – Hyldon” during the Rio Festival on Saturday. By cell phone, Hyldon observed images of the full movie theater and expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone present.
The documentary will also be presented in other sessions of the festival: Tuesday, 7th, at 8:30 pm, at CineCarioca José Wilker; Friday, 10th, at 1:45 pm, at Cinesystem Belas Artes; and Sunday, 12th, at 6:15 pm, at Cinema Santa Teresa.
According to a statement released on his social media: “Thanks to Senhor do Bonfim, of whom he is devoted, everything is fine and the singer continues his schedule normally after discharge.”
