The accident occurred around 11 pm (local time) on Sunday night (05). According to the witnesses, Sané was walking under the tent when the fans began to shout insults and provocations aimed at him and his current club. According to reports, the player would have lost his mind after some prejudicial comments, with racist tones. Initially, he tried to ignore insults and get away, but he returned to face the group when the provocations continued.

The verbal confrontation quickly turned into pushes and a short fight, which was interrupted by the site’s security team. The direction of the tent, controlled by the Kuffler group, reported that the case was resolved “quickly and peacefully”, without calling the authorities.

Sané admits the regret

The player recognized his excess and said he had lost control of the situation, especially after being “pushed” and “caused” before the clash.

“I have long been caused and personally insulted in the festival tent. Galatasaray also offended. With this hot climate they pushed me and there was a quick altercation. Of course I should have remained calm and ignore it. This is a lesson that I will take,” said the attacker.

Sources close to the player claim that Sané received the support of Galatasaray and his companions, who consider the situation an isolated episode. The Monaco police confirmed that there was no official documentation of the case, since the security team of the event managed to circumvent it.

The German press also strongly criticized the behavior of the fans who attacked the outside. The episode, in fact, has rekindled a local debate on the anniversary of racist insults in the main public events of the country.

Sané appreciated the event during the break in the world calendar due to FIFA data, since it was also excluded from the list of the coach Julian Nagelsmann for the national team games. The outside won four editions of the Bundesliga, two German Super Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup between 2020 and 2024 with Bayern Munich.
