Actress Kaley Cuoco (the penny from “The Big Bang Theory”) and actor Pete Davidson (“The Art of Growing Up”) have teamed up in the romantic comedy “Meet Cute”.
In the plot, the two play Sheila and Gary, a couple who fall in love at first sight and spend a perfect night together. But not everything is as it seems. Indeed, Sheila has a time machine and uses it to relive that night over and over in order to turn Gary into the perfect man.
Directed by Alex Lehmann (“Paddleton”), “Meet Cute” will be released on September 21 on the US streaming service Peacock. There is no release date for Brazil yet.
Kaley Cuoco will soon also be seen in the movie “Role Play”, about a couple haunted by the secrets of the past, and in the series “Based on a True Story”.
Pete Davidson, meanwhile, has been keeping busy after leaving the cast of the “Saturday Night Live” sitcom. He is working on director David Michôd’s comedy “Wizards!” (“The King”), and will also star in James DeMonaco’s horror “The Home” (creator of the “The Purge” franchise).
