Despite having a clear direction for the character, Gunn admitted that the details of how this story will unfold remain to be defined. He confirmed he had a plan, but highlighted the complexities of integrating it into the larger narrative.
“I have plans to KeithI just haven’t figured out exactly how it’s all going to work, so I have to make sure I can do it.”explained. One of the biggest challenges, according to him, is the logistics of the plot: “It’s hard with the interdimensional jumping stuff to get those things to come together the way I want them to.”.
Gunn also connected the future of Keith to one of the most important elements introduced in the season: the prison planet Salvation. He mentioned that the main story “It’s about the Salvationwhich is something more planned than Keith’s part.”. This indicates that, although the arc of Keith is still being adjusted, it is intrinsically linked to the central plot that will shape the next chapters of the DCU.
