Seven seasons after mentalist Patrick Jane’s play, Australian actor Simon Baker has become quite rare on screens. Since the end of the 2015 series, she has starred in only 3 films: Here and Now with Sarah Jessica Parker, the action thriller High Ground, and the surfing film Breath, directed by her.
And has not even appeared on television before. But that will soon change as the actor joins the cast of the Apple TV + series, Roar, which will be released on the platform on April 15th.
In this black humor anthology series that marks his return to the small screen, Simon Baker plays the character’s husband played by Nicole Kidman, a woman who eats photos to relive clichéd memories!
Each episode of this show, which reads what it means to be a woman, depicts an ordinary woman who finds herself in unusual situations. The latter are especially embodied by Cynthia Erivo, Alison Brie, Merritt Weaver or even Betty Gilpin and Isa Ray.
