Five communities receive care at the Porto Alegre mobile health unit

The mobile unit of the Municipal Health Department will serve five communities in the neighborhoods of Belém Velho, Lageado, Humaitá, Anchieta and Mário Quintana during the week. This Monday (13th) the bus will be at the Antônio Gianelli Social Center (Belém Velho), from 10:00 to 16:00.

Vaccination calendars, medical and nursing visits, cytopathological sampling for the prevention of cervical cancer, pregnancy tests, application of injectable drugs, dressing and removal of stitches will be available.

Communities will also have access to antenatal consultations, rapid testing for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B and C, blood pressure and glucose checks, childcare consultations, referrals to specialists, distribution of simple prescription medicines and prescription updates.

Tuesday 14th – Esporte Clube Lageado (Avenue Edgar Pires de Castro, 9316, Lageado district)

Wednesday 15th – Vila Santo André (Avenida Ernesto Neugebauer, 2470, Humaitá district)

Thursday 16 – Vila Dique (Avenida Dique, 746, ONG Nossa Casa, Anchieta neighborhood)

Friday 17 – Marist Brothers (Rua Tenente Coronel Valdomiro Eifler, 450, central Maristas square, Mário Quintana district)
