Tonight on TV: The throwback comedy we love

Every day, AlloCiné recommends watching a movie (again) on TV. Tonight: Claude Zid’s iconic comedy.

Directed by Claude Zid, experiencing great financial difficulty, after the commercial failure (the first of his career!) Beast but Disciplined, director Claude Zid tries to reconnect with the freedom of his beginnings (The Wing or the Thigh, La Zizanie…).

He notices Daniel O’Teil in the room on the boards Teach me Celine, and offered her the role of a lazy babe in his new film Les Sous-doués. Attracting nearly 4 million viewers to theaters in 1980, the latter actually allowed him to get back on track.

If this comedy with a comical pace – boring high school students are forced to get a bachelor’s degree at any cost – will gain public favor, it will be thanks to its beloved actor and its delicious school students (Learning Machine, Sonoton). The old mad professor, the most eccentric fraud technique…).

There is no doubt why this great classic, a champion of television repertoire, is still viewed with fondness and nostalgia today.

Talented By Claude Zid with Daniel Autel, Maria Pacom, Michel Galabru…

Tonight on TMC at 8:50 PM.
