Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom), a new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in December 2025

Marvel released the first trailer for Magnum (Wonder Manin the original), new series from its Cinematographic Universe, which arrives on Disney+ in January 2026. The new series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom) and accompanies simon williamsan actor fighting for a prominent role in a promising new film.

What is the story of Wonder Man?

In the comics, Wonder Manor Magnumis the secret identity of simon williamswho gains powers of super strength, durability and electromagnetic manipulation, among others, after undergoing scientific tests from the Baron Zemo. He first appeared in 1964 as a villain, but ended up redeeming himself and was one of the founding members of the West Coast Avengers.

After leaving the group, a producer approached him and tried to convince him that the best path in his life would be his rise as a movie star. He took on the challenge and starred in several films, taking advantage of his superhuman powers to gain even more prominence in the film industry.

Who else is in the cast of Wonder Man?

In addition to Abdul-Mateen II, Magnumwhich will introduce the character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, features the return of Ben Kingsleyfrom Iron Man 3 (2013) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), like Trevor Slattery; and the additions of Lauren Glazierfrom Mindhunter (2017-2019), and Courteney Coxfrom Friends (1994-2004) and the franchise Panic (1996-2023).

When does it debut Wonder Man?
