News brings a university professor into conflict after one of her students accuses her colleague of sexual assault

After debuting in selected cinemas in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, After the Huntnew feature film Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name), starring Julia Roberts (A Place Called Notting Hill), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) and Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man), hits cinemas across the country from this Thursday, October 16th.

What is the story of After the Hunt?

In After the Hunta university professor finds herself involved in an ethical and professional crisis when her best friend accuses another professor, a longtime friend, of sexual assault. While conflicts in campus Intensify, following the release of the news and the beginning of an investigation, the teacher’s secrets threaten to come to light, testing her limits between loyalty, justice and conviction.

In addition to the main trio, the film’s cast also includes Chloe Sevigny (American Psycho) and Michael Stuhlbargwho worked with Guadagnino in Call Me By Your Name. Musicians and composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Rossresponsible for the soundtrack of Rivals and Queerfilms directed by Luca Guadagninoalso resume their partnership with the director.
