Real Madrid spends around R$27 million on luxury cars for players

For four consecutive years the Spanish club presented athletes and coaches with a new model from the BMW brand. There are four Brazilians in the team

Still! Real Madrid, for the fourth consecutive year, is allowing players to choose luxury BMW car models to use throughout the season. The club released this Thursday (16th) the images of the athletes with the chosen vehicles.

Every year, the athletes and coach of the Merengue club receive a new brand launch. Therefore, Real Madrid paid around R$27 million at the current price. Therefore, each player had, on average, a vehicle worth R$1.18 million in their garage. In this way, according to the newspaper “Marca”, the athletes of the Spanish club were able to choose between six models: M5, XM, i7 M70, i5, ix60, i4 M60.

The i7, a fully electric sedan with a starting value of R$ 1,373,950, excluding customizations, was the model chosen by three Brazilians who work for Real Madrid: Vini Jr, Endrick and Militão. In addition to them, the car was also chosen by Mbappé, Carvajal, Rüdiger, Carreras and coach Xabi Alonso. The majority preferred black for the car, but the Brazilian defender opted for a white model.

Other choices

Rodrygo, another Brazilian who defends the Spanish club, opted for the XM model, a hybrid SUV, which costs 180 thousand euros, around 1.14 million reals at the current price. He was also chosen by Bellingham, Mendy, Fran García, Brahim Díaz, Valverde, Huijsen, Ceballos and Tchouameni.

Camavinga and Trent Alexander-Arnold chose the ix60 model, which starts at R $ 1,44,950. Finally, Gonzalo García opted for an i5, which has a starting price of R$795,950; Lunin for the M5, which costs R$663,850; and Mastantuono chose the i4, worth R$675,959.

Real Madrid is leader of Espanyol

Real Madrid already leads the Spanish league with 21 points from eight games. Seven wins and only one defeat so far. The Merengue team takes to the field this Sunday, at 4pm (Brasília), against Getafe, away and at home.
