Unexpectedly, the Golden State Warriors, of the National Basketball Association (NBA), announced this Saturday morning (18th) the release of two players from the team.
According to the statement released by the club, the dismissed athletes were Lionel Cryer and Seth Curry, younger brother of idol Stephen Curry.
The 35-year-old shooting guard was announced by the Warriors in October of this year, just over two weeks ago.
The dismissal occurred due to team payroll issues.
Seth Curry has 13 seasons in the NBA. In the last two he played for the Charlotte Hornets, where he stood out for his high three-point shooting, averaging 45.6%.
