The stylist Amir Slama returned to parade SPFW and he revisited the classics of his 35-year career, bringing a new and environmentalist look. The presentation also served to launch the global movement for the Amazon, called Fashion For Forests.
Dozens of models on the catwalk, including several present at fashion week since the first day, in 1996, as Carol Bittencourt AND Gian Albertoni. They also paraded Isabella Fiorentino, Marcelle Bittar, Cassia Avila, Claudia Lisaamong other veterans.

The Amir Slama collection
Amir Slama revisited his 35-year career, since the launch of Rosa Chá, in 1990, but mixed creations based on visits made to the Amazon region, also bringing prints by Glauco Rodrigues (1929-2004), which portray the depths of Brazil.
There were figures of indigenous peoples, birds and Brazilian landscapes, as well as phrases like “Yes, we have bananas.” Strong colors, such as red, yellow, green and blue are accompanied by ruffles, cuts, fabrics, transparencies, volumes and lace.
Even the famous bikini with a slit on the back has been revisited, this time in a swimsuit version. There were also sequins, stones and bows.

Tree mesh
Fashion For Forest was born from Amir Slama’s forays into the Amazon and his meeting with indigenous activist Txai Suruà and entrepreneur Catarina Bellino. The result was the creation of a t-shirt, entitled Tree-Shirt, with a design created by model Claudia Liz. Each piece sold will be used to plant a tree in the territory of Paiter Suruà (Rondônia), through the Pamine Reforestation program, which has already planted 1 million trees in the region.
