An exciting new cycle that will end the year on a good note
From November 5 to January 4, 2026, moviegoers will have the opportunity to participate in a new thematic cycle. Picture Forum in Parisunder the name Music! A new event that promises to be exciting and will allow us to end the year on a high note. on the program? Screenings, of course, but also meetings, debates and conferences, not forgetting the exceptional DJ sets.
An electroeclectic program, from Daft Punk to DJ Mehdis
The cycle will open with a screening of the musical animated feature film Interstella 5555. Directed by Kazuhisa Takenouchi, based on sketches by Albator creator Leiji Matsumoto, this pop and space odyssey accompanied the 2003 release of Daft Punk’s iconic album Discovery, Hard, Better, or More. Stronger… So many essential titles from the French duo’s discography brought to life by the power of Japanese animation.
Screening of Interstella 5555 – November 5 at 20:30. – is ahead of a unique video game experience based on the work of Daft Punk, which should have pleasant surprises for moviegoers and fans of the band!

And this is not the only pleasure in the cycle of music! Designed for electronic enthusiasts. On November 6 (19:00) DJ Para One will attend an exclusive screening of his documentary Spectre: Sanity, Madness & the Family and answer questions from the audience at the end of their viewing.
Of course, you can’t celebrate music without attending a live performance. Thus, Forum des images will offer viewers of the screening of the documentary DJ Mehdi: Made in France (November 7, 8:15 p.m.) the opportunity to bend over to DVNO’s bass during a DJ set whose atmosphere already promises to be electric.
From Barbara to Amy Winehouse: The Best Tracks You’ve Never Heard…or Seen!
Diddy Barbara, Amy Winehouse, Maria Callas and even Celine Dion… so many icons who have left their mark on music history with their amazing voices and who will reveal their personal lives during the music cycle! Through biographies and documentaries: Barbara by Mathieu Amalric, Amy by Asif Kapadia – awarded an Oscar in 2016 – Maria Pablo Larrain and Aline (and together!) Valérie Lermercier.

These displays will be complemented by fascinating conferences. Neither Muses nor Bands – A Feminist History of Music (Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m.), hosted by journalist Chloé Thibault (admission free, Simone Media) and will return to the slow but necessary fight for equality in a music industry still dominated by men. in the course called Actors and actresses in musical biographies (December 5, 6:30 p.m.) Lecturer Ellen Valmar will accurately analyze the difficult task of portraying the lives of musicians. And finally, don’t miss the meeting between two electric figures: J.-B. Dunkel, co-founder of AIR, and Robbie, a musician known for his work with Phoenix among other things, discuss their work as composers for film together (Nov. 14, 6:30 p.m.).
A moving tribute to “The Man from Elsewhere”
As the tenth anniversary of his death approaches, the great and late David Bowie will be at the center of a moving tribute, marked by a selection of unforgettable works. A perfect way to (re)discover the extent of his genius that influenced music as much as the 7th art.
The Man Who Came from Elsewhere, Labyrinth, Prestige or even Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me adapted from the latter’s David Lynch series of the same name, there are so many great feature films featuring David Bowie’s inimitable imprint that his fans will be able to see or re-watch the musical in a cycle!

His iconic role in Furio by Nagisa Oshima (better known as Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence), highlighted by the legendary soundtrack of the great composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, will also be analyzed by journalist Christopher Conte in a conference dedicated to the two men and their mutual inspiration, entitled. Bowie / Sakamoto: A Strange Passion (December 19 at 6:30 p.m.).
