Carla remembers Jim

After Friday there is no news from Carla, Berenia goes to Leroy hoping to see and talk to her. There, Mark informs her that Carla is at the hospital with Rose and the Furians because she needs medical clearance to return home. However, he reassures Berenica, confident that Carla will eventually resume dialogue with her. Jimmy, in turn, reminds Berenica that he is there for her if she needs him.

Carla, on the other hand, receives medical clearance to return to Angers. However, the doctor recommends a final examination before returning to the adopter the next day.

While waiting in the hospital corridor during Carla’s examination, Ann Furian expresses her fear that her daughter will not feel safe in Angers. She dreads returning him to his teenage room, where he started eating disorders when he found out he was adopted. Rose then offers a last ditch effort to revive Carla’s memory.

After the exam, Rose takes her daughter to the institute to show the owner around. Carla feels uncomfortable because she doesn’t recognize Clotilda, and especially because several students stare at her as she passes. Rose apologizes for the inconvenience, then manages to convince him to take her to the kitchen.

There, Carla meets Jim, who offers to help prepare the recipe. A young woman accepts. Jim realizes that she has kept the gestures very technical, which he finds encouraging. Carla confirms that she feels good in the kitchen.

At the same time, Berenice enters to talk to Carla, but the latter refuses to listen to her. Jimmy admits that he was the one who brought him in so he could solve the case. Faced with Carla’s reaction, Berenia prefers not to persist and leaves.

In a fit of emotion, Carla throws the pan into the sink, which brings back memories of the last argument in the kitchen with Jim. He then turns to her and tells her that he remembers…

Ferdinand is looking for a partner

After hanging up with Teyssier, Clotilde informs Stanislaus that the latter has found a rare pearl in the vicinity for a future applique hotel. Two colleagues think about how to prepare students for this new course and decide to start a preliminary selection as part of the hotel brigade. The couple that creates the best gourmet breakfast will automatically be integrated into the brigade.

Meanwhile, Billy is training Ferdinand in the studio. When he heard about the pre-selection, which was closed to master’s students, he strongly advised the young man to participate, stressing that it would be a great training for him in the field of cooking as well as an opportunity to make connections.

After serving at Double A as the new maître d’hôtel, Ferdinand gives Leonardo a special congratulations on his job. After which, before Leonard decides to pair up with Zoë for the preliminaries, Ferdinand offers his half-brother to pair up instead. After she criticizes Zoe for putting herself forward, Leonard flatly refuses her proposal.

Disappointed, Ferdinand returns to his room at the boarding house. He worries Gaspar and Maya, who put a scarf on the door to signal a desire for privacy. Ferdinand then offers his countryman a deal: let him have the room for two evenings a week, in exchange for which he must offer Leonardo to be his running mate.

Ninon pushes Milan to the limit

For his Interpromo course, Chef Rivero offers students a Halloween-themed module: they will have to create a plate using only naturally black ingredients. Students are randomly divided into pairs. Milan turns out to be with Ninon. Although she wants to follow her instincts to find inspiration, the young girl prefers to plan everything in advance.

By the end of the course, Ninon is very proud of their plate, and Milan thinks he’s a little too wise. As he is about to pour the sesame oil with a spoon, Ninon stops him and declares that it is better to pour it with a pipette. Milan assumes she trusts him, but the young girl forces them to prove her point to their teacher. Milan throws in the towel.

After class, Milan complains about Gary Nino’s behavior. The latter thinks that he just needs to do well and emphasizes that he really has a lot of knowledge. After overhearing their conversation, Tom believes Ninon is being disrespectful to Milan. He decides to add his two cents to the situation.

He approaches Ninon in the park and tells her that Milan was arrested because of his bloodthirsty and impulsive temper. He explains that the latter is difficult to annoy and therefore advises Ninon to always go her own way to avoid problems.
