Starring Jeremy Allen Whitefrom the acclaimed series The Bear (2022- ), Springsteen: Save Me From the Unknown recalls the production journey of Nebraskathe album responsible for marking a new artistic direction for the singer of hits such as “Dancing in the Dark”,” “I’m On Fire” and “Born to Run”. Originally, the album had been recorded on a cassette tape, when the artist lived in New Jersey, a few years before its success. “Born in the USA”.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Springsteen revealed what the “the film addresses, in a way, some of the most painful days of my life”. “When I knew there were really personal scenes coming up, I wanted to give the actors total freedom. So I stayed at home.”added the artist, who visited the set recordings frequently.
