The Brazilian will not be fined for anger after the substitution
Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso confirmed this Friday (31) that the controversy with Brazilian striker Vinicius Júnior is over and that he will not be fined for his behavior during the last classic against Barcelona.
In a press conference on the eve of the match against Valencia, the coach said that “everything is resolved” between him and the athlete, who complained strongly when he was replaced in the 27th minute of the second half in last Sunday’s match (27).
At the moment, the Brazilian reacted angrily and was caught on camera insulting the bench. “Me again? To hell! It’s still me! I’m leaving the team, it’s too much, I’d better leave!”, Vini Jr. allegedly shouted.
According to Alonso, however, the situation was resolved internally: “Last Wednesday we had a meeting with all the technical staff and players, and Vinicius gave an impeccable speech. He spoke with sincerity, from the heart.”
For the coach “from this moment on the question is closed”.
After the incident, Vinicius published an apology on social media, addressed “to all Real Madrid fans”. The club has decided not to apply any financial sanctions.
Once the case is closed, Real Madrid returns to focus on the Spanish championship, where it remains isolated at the top, with 27 points. Now, the Merengue team takes the field this Saturday (1st). .
