What is it about?

In 1973 the album Dry & Wet was released and, together with the incredible performances of the group of the same name, it generated a revolution in the Brazilian music scene. Now, fifty-two years later, Ney Matogrosso and Gerson Conrad join musicians and lyricists from the band’s classic lineup to tell their stories in Spring us Teeth – The History of Secos & Molhadosa series with exclusive testimonials, archive images and an emotional mosaic of collaborators and fans as a way of reconstructing the trajectory of a group that, in the midst of a military dictatorship, provoked an aesthetic and behavioral revolution in Brazil.

Prevented from playing the group’s greatest classics — which were not released by John Ricardothe third member of the original lineup — the producer decided to invite Emilio Carrera (pianist) and Willy Verdaguer (double bass player) – musicians who were part of the band in 1973 and 1974, to return to the studios and create new original songs inspired by the sound of “Secos & Molhados” for the Work, in a special gesture to the fans.

us vocals from the song that ends the series and which received a special music video. Throughout the series, they and other guests talk about the great revolution caused by the group and the troubled relationship with their ex-partner that led to the band’s end.

“The history of Secos & Molhados in itself already had a very attractive artistic profile, but it became even better, 50 years later, to bring together some of these great artists in the studio to compose and record new songs with the same essence and sound, I would say the same DNA. I believe, it will be remembered for all of us and for the unconditional fans of this band”
