Globoplay has released the first official photo with a scene from the second season of “As Five”. The image features Maura (Tamirys O’Hanna), one of the new characters, appearing in the center, along with Keyla (Gabriela Medvedovski), Samuel (Jesse Scarpellini), Miguel (Marcos Oli), Benê (Daphne Bozaski) and Nem ( Thalles) Cabral).
Tamirys O’Hanna’s character will be a determined woman who works in the tech area and crosses her path with Ellen (Heslaine Vieira).
The recordings of the second wave of episodes have already been completed and will also see the return of Rafael Vitti as Ariel and Malu Galli as Marta, mother of Lica (Manoela Aliperti).
Although the premiere date has not yet been set, the cast will return to work by the end of this month to begin production on season three.
According to an official statement from Globoplay, the second season will address the issues of social inequality, racism, sexual orientation and religion through the new challenges faced by the five friends of the title: Benê, Ellen, Keyla, Lica and Tina (Ana Hikari ).
The youth series developed by Cao Hamburger is derived from “Malhação: Viva a Diferença”, an Emmy Kids International award-winning attraction. But his approach is much more adult, showing what happens to the “Five”, the five protagonists of the original story, after each one has taken a different course at the end of the original story – which aired between 2017 and 2018, and recently shooting on the Globo network.
The episodes are written by Luna Grimberg, Maiara de Paula and Maíra Motta, with Vitor Brandt, Íris Junges, Thays Berbe and Thais Fujinaga, with the artistic direction of Fabrício Mamberti and the general direction of Dainara Toffoli.
