The movie “Thor: Love and Thunder”, the latest release from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in theaters, won its premiere date on Disney +.
The fourth solo film of the hero Thor, “Love and Thunder” is the second film of the God of Thunder directed by Taika Waititi, following the critical and public success of “Thor: Ragnarok”.
This time, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor finds a new adventure, trying to stop the plan of the Butcher of the Gods, Gorr, played by Christian Bale. For this, he will have the help of an unexpected heroine, his former human girlfriend Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, who becomes the Mighty Thor after taking control of the Mjolnir hammer.
Despite the excellent cast and the return of the acclaimed director, “Thor: Love and Thunder” had a mixed reception and was not liked as much as its predecessor. But that didn’t stop the film from exceeding the $ 700 million mark at the worldwide box office.
The film was released in theaters on July 7 and now earns its release date on Disney + for September 8, right on the commemorative date called Disney + Day, along with other titles that also arrive on this day.
