The adventures of Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson are far away. While the 5th season of SWAT is still being aired on CBS across the Atlantic, Shemar Moore himself announced on social media this weekend an update for the 6th season of the detective series.
Very good news for fans, which came just hours before the 100th episode of SWAT, which aired in the United States last night, called “Fugitive,” in which Hondo is accused of shooting two police officers and takes time to prove his innocence.

For the sixth season, this update is no big surprise, as SWAT remains one of CBS’s strongest brands, selling well internationally and enjoying the popularity of Shemar Moore, who has acquired her role in Love Fires and Criminal Minds.
However, the series is far from the biggest success of the American channel, as it ranks only 12th (out of 14) in the audience among CBS dramas, with an average of 6.6 million viewers every week since the start of the 5th season last October.
Either way, SWAT joins NCIS, which has just been updated for 20 seasons, but also NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: Hawai’i, Bob Hearts Abishola, The Neighborhood, Young Sheldon, Ghosts, and CSI: Vegas, which are guaranteed to return later. . Season for new episodes.
In France, TF1 aired the first two episodes of Season 5 in February, after Season 4, before broadcasting ceased. A continuation of the SWAT in the coming months should therefore be offered on the front page, with no further details for the time being.
