A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, August 24, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Convinced that Mark has something to say, Eric steadfastly waits for him at the end of his building. He grabs it, preparing to strike, but Ariane steps in and stops him. He orders Eric to leave the building. After questioning Mark, he joins his friend Marci.

Simon’s ex has an alibi when the young man was shot: he was with his mother. Ariane, of course, will have to cancel the phone to confirm this information. He also confides in Eric that the gun Simon was attacked with is a 9mm.

An ex-cop ties up the gun he bought to protect Simon, but the gun was never found at the crime scene. Eric feels guilty. However, he explains to Ariane that Mallard saw her keep the gun in the barn, which makes her suspicious of #1.
