
Warner has announced further delays in the releases of “Aquaman and the Last Kingdom” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”.
The second movie “Shazam!”, Scheduled for December of this year, has been delayed for three months and will now arrive on March 17, 2023. The second “Aquaman” with Jason Momoa, previously scheduled for March of the year, has been delayed nine months, getting a new date on December 25, 2023.
According to the Deadline website, the changes have come because “Aquaman and the Last Kingdom” will have to go through a longer period of filming. With this, the sequel to Shazam! will fill in the date previously reserved for its release.
The news sparked many rumors about Amber Heard’s role in the production.
The studio also announced the theatrical release of two productions originally developed for streaming: “House Party”, a reboot of “Big Party” (1990), and “Evil Dead Rise”, a new film in the “Evil Dead” series. “(started in 1988), will air on December 9, 2022 and April 21, 2023 respectively.
