Plus belle la vie: big absentees from the series’ final premier event

With the end of Plus belle la vie fast approaching, France 3 has revealed the first details of the primetime event that will allow fans to say goodbye to their favorite daily soap. Filming for this special episode, which will air on November 18, began on Tuesday, August 23 at the famous La Belle de Mai studio and will continue until September 14 in and around Marseille.

If the script for this special episode is not known at this time, even if unofficial information has been leaked online, France 3 has published an impressive list of actors participating in this special bonus time through a press release. Between great absences and memorable returns, discover the program!

If fans have been looking forward to the reunion of the Mars clan, it may not happen. For several years now, Michel Cordes, aka Roland Mars, has been much less present at Plus belle la vie.

And if some were hoping he’d return for the finale, they’ll be sorely disappointed, as the character hasn’t been announced for casting. According to the production, “his character is not involved in the story.” It remains to be seen whether his absence during the premiere will be explained.

While Prime will also feature Jeffrey Sovo, who played Lucas Mark, his sister, Johanna, will not be there. Dunya Cosens, who was in the prime “Reunion” cast last July, will therefore not be returning to say a final farewell to her character.

Also in the final prime, Ambrose Michel, aka Rudy Torres, will return for the final episode. Unfortunately, he is not accompanied by Ninon, Oreli Vanek did not appear in the casting.

Another big surprise, Virgil Bale, who played Guillaume Leatherman for many years, will also be at the center of intrigue in this final episode. Does this mean he and Luna are going to fall into each other’s arms again? Please respond in the next few weeks.

Claire de la Rochefoucauld, producer and screenwriter on Plus belle la vie, explained this in an interview with Allociné that bringing Letizia Milot back, just for the sake of having the actress come back, was not what the authors wanted. Therefore, we have to believe that they didn’t manage to find a story for Melanie’s character, since the actress will not return in the final bonus.
