Let’s go back to The Lion King, an unforgettable classic from the Disney studio, and a small error that appears regularly throughout the film when we look a little closer to Simba’s eyes.
No, live-action feature films do not have a monopoly on fake connections! Animated films can also, at times, make a few mistakes from one shot to the next, especially in terms of drawings and colors.

For example, this is the case with The Lion King, an unforgettable Disney classic from the 90s that many fans consider one of the magical studio’s greatest works, but still hides some subtle little mistakes. Small defects that our friends Michelle and Michelle did not list in the program dedicated to the film.
To observe one of the most glaring errors in the feature film, you have to look closely at Simba’s eyes in the second part of the film, when the lion has already reached adulthood. Indeed, depending on the plans and cutscenes, you’ll notice that the lower part of his eyes – that is, the colorless area that surrounds his pupils – changes color regularly.

When he sings Hakuna Matata with Timon and Pumbaa, his eyes are mostly yellow, but they turn white when he talks to them under the stars. When he argues with Nala, they turn yellow again, when he meets Rafiki, they turn white again.
Could this change depend on the sequence’s atmosphere and lighting? Unfortunately, this excuse doesn’t hold up, as seen in the scene where Simba is confronted by the appearance of his father, Mufasa. Indeed, during this sequence, his eyes go from yellow to white in a split second.

But this repeated mistake of colors is not the only one in the film. In the beginning Lion king, you’ll also be able to see Scar’s pads disappear and then reappear. In the deleted scene, young Simba’s mustache has completely evaporated. And twice in the movie, hyenas end up with four toes instead of three.
