On the night of the premiere on HBO and HBO Max, House of the Dragon reached a staggering 10 million plays, breaking the record for the release of the sixth season of game of Thrones. While the original series aired, fans created a hustle and bustle every Sunday to check out the new episodes, and the spin-off shouldn’t be any different.

The house of the dragon takes place hundreds of years before the events of game of Thrones, focusing on the Targaryen family. The series is inspired by the book Fire & Bloodby George RR Martin, and features power plays, violence, battles and more, and episodes are released weekly, on Sundays.
