The former US president is a controversial figure, but Donald Trump was a target for comedians long before he became president. . Many comics have their impressions of Trump , but we may have seen the best of Jamie Foxx. The Oscar-winning actor does an outstanding job with his impression of Trump.
In a recent appearance on the rap radar podcast , Jamie Foxx broke into his Trump impersonation. And if you close your eyes, I bet you could be fooled. At least until the former US president starts talking about his love for Death Row Records. At this point, you may start wondering what you were listening to. Check out Jamie Foxx’s performance in the clip below.
Jamie Foxx became a dramatic actor in his Oscar-winning roles. from Warranty a Ray It’s easy to forget that he started his career as a comedian, doing stand-up comedy and acting brightly colored. With that experience, I would expect him to be solid on the prints. He may not have needed to refine an impression of Trump, but he did exactly that.
Although the clip above is lacking in context, the impression was made during a chat with fellow podcast guest Snoop Dogg. Foxx and Snoop appear together in the current Netflix movie Day shift and they will be together again in the next play Starry weekend. To spy who talked about reconnecting with one of the founders of Death Row Records, Michael Harris, known as Harry-O.
Harris spent over 30 years in prison on drug charges, but was pardoned by President Trump in 2021. Harris is now back to work with Snoop Dogg, who acquired Death Row Records earlier this year. It’s after Snoop mentioned Trump’s forgiveness that Foxx comes off, completely and hilariously, talking about how much Trump loves Harry-O.
Time Jamie Foxx Upcoming Movies are a mix of drama and comedy, there is probably no film that allows him to show off his incredible skills as an impressionist. It’s a shame because this impression of Trump shows just how skilled Foxx is in this regard. Many impressions of any famous character, while still hilarious, intentionally carry several elements too far to achieve a comic effect. For Foxx, the comedy comes in the way it perfectly captures Trump’s peculiar way of speaking.
Hopefully Jamie Foxx will find places in future projects to utilize this incredible talent. If he can make Trump like that, he is certainly capable of other equally good impressions. Maybe we need a Jamie Foxx comedy special focused on impression.
