New Kids on The Block member secretly marries boyfriend

Singer and presenter Jonathan Knight, who became known in the 1980s as a member of the musical group New Kids on The Block, announced this week that he married his longtime boyfriend Harley Rodriguez in a secret ceremony in the United States.

He got married after reporters asked him about a ring he wore at an event, as well as calling his partner’s husband in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”.

In the interview he added to the reporter: “But everyone thought we were married. So I never say yes or no, because I don’t want to lie.” Later, the singer was asked if she had already celebrated the wedding. He said no, because the covid-19 pandemic delayed the plans. “She’s coming,” he said she.

Knight had previously told People magazine that the pandemic has hampered their marriage plans. “We were going to get married on the farm this year in a tent and then have the ceremony in our barn,” he said at the time, referring to the property where he and Harley live in Massachusetts, United States.

Because of this, she confessed that she had thought of running away with her boyfriend due to pressure to get the wedding to happen as soon as possible. “We are on the fence if we want to escape. Or just wait a few more years and have a big party with our families,” she said.

The two have been together since 2008 and got engaged in 2016. Jonathan recently returned from a tour of New Kids on the Block along with bandmates Salt-n-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue.

But singing has become a hobby for Knight, who currently hosts the reality show “Farmhouse Fixer,” in which he decorates farm-style homes for several clients.
