On Monday, August 29, it all starts here…

Axel arrives at the Auguste Armani Institute with his uncle. The pressure is at its peak as the entrance exam is about to start. The young man knows that if he does not join the school, he will be obliged to work in the building with his father. Chef Tessier makes his nephew special because he hopes to see him at the Institute. Axel, on the other hand, is determined to succeed and is also confident that his training will pay off.

However, Emmanuel warns him: he is not the only one who has a good reason to fight. Indeed, Ethan is the “son” who needs to prove to everyone that he depends on him. Young Samia wants to take revenge on her life because she started from nothing. Bill, an eccentric, exists only for his creativity and is about to show what he is capable of. As for Solal, this competition is his last chance to integrate his dream school. And if Vicki and David look relaxed, they’re also going to give it all up to take their place.

Vic Rochemont takes his first steps at the institute. A young woman is so dazzled by the building that she pushes her competitor for carelessness. He then meets Greg and Elliott, who this year are in charge of guiding the candidates through the entrance exam. When two young men ask her her first and last name, they realize too much that she is the little sister of their best friend, Hortense.

The young woman explains to them that she used to play basketball in PE, but now wants to reconsider her second passion: cooking. During the conversation, Vic realizes that the two students seem to be unaware of his background, or even his existence. He said Hortense shouldn’t have told them about it because they had been less than close for some time.

After leaving, Elliott confides in his friend that his best friend only mentioned him once before hanging up. For his part, Greg thinks it must be a touchy subject, but he seems very handsome.

Meanwhile, Chef Cardone accompanies Ethan and takes the opportunity to exchange a few words with Chef Teyssier. Emmanuel does not hide his surprise, he does not understand why his son does not study at his school in Lille. However, Annabelle does not want to be accused of nepotism and wants to make sure her son is treated the same as any other candidate.

A little later, Axel sees Ethan checking out the Double A terrace and wants to introduce his beautiful new acquaintance to Solal and Jasmine. But Cardon’s son doesn’t want to talk to them in order to concentrate as much as possible before the first test. His very strange behavior then leaves Axel very confused.

Chef Tessier developed endurance tests in the kitchen and dining room for the competition. This news is not far from delighting the rest of the teaching staff, who believe that they are too difficult for simple beginners. But Emmanuel wants to make sure they have the best students this year and tells them they will only be 50 after the first exam.

Greg and Elliott have a surprise for Hortense: her baby sister Vicki! Although the young woman was happy to be in her last year and greeted the new students, she fell from her height when she saw the quiz. He then announces that he will pass the entrance exam to the institute and tells her that his parents support him in his decision. The news comes as a blow to his older sister, who suffered greatly from her father’s behavior when she dropped out of medical school to devote herself to cooking.

Vicky then apologizes to him because she didn’t want to upset him. Hortense, on the other hand, refuses to fall for his schemes and asks him to stop watching movies. Clearly not on good terms between the two sisters, Quiz then asks if she’s going to avoid it or ignore it. But for her sister, the question does not even arise: she does not have the level to integrate such a prestigious school.

Later, the candidates are grouped in the amphitheater. Salome takes the opportunity to tell Solal and Axel that she will be supervising the first round of the competition. He then tells his nephew Teysier that the young man sitting there is named Ethan Cardone. He then imagines that the latter found out that he was Teysier and that he decided to avoid him.

Antoine and Emmanuel welcome the candidates. The director speaks first and significantly increases the pressure. Then he explains to them that only the top fifty candidates of the first test will proceed with the selection and only 20 of them will be integrated into the institute. Miriel then goes on to explain: the competition consists of three tests spread over three days. Candidates start the pastry exam elsewhere in 20 minutes.

The pressure in the dressing room is increasing! The candidates know they have to take their chances or go home tonight. But David is completely relaxed and even takes the opportunity to flirt with Billy, whose style he really appreciates. The young woman is not interested at all and briefly informs him. The young man continues his desire to lighten the atmosphere by turning on the music and dancing sensually in front of the samiya.

Axel, Solal, Ethan, Vicky, Billy, Samia and David are in the same group and therefore take the pastry exam at the same time. Chef Teissier presents them with a test: make as many chocolate mousses as possible in the allotted time, which he is not going to reveal. So they have to prepare a dessert without knowing how much time they have left, but also without using pastry robots. Emmanuel is full of ingenuity this year as the group has to beat the egg whites by hand.

Although the ordeal has already begun, a young man named Hugo arrives late. He then stands next to Vicky and asks her to follow his instructions. But a young woman sets a trap for him and makes him believe that he can use the pastry robot for egg whites. Teysier surprises her by breaking a rule and automatically disqualifies her… Vicki on her fun side.

The ordeal is coming to an end. Chef Teissier takes the opportunity to go through the ranks and is very impressed with Ethan’s tenacity and the quality of his work. Emmanuel then announces the end of the test and tells them that Salome is going to count the number of their creations, but only those who count well.

Claire, on the other hand, regrets not going to her son’s engagement party. He also fears who will pay for his choices when he returns from Croatia with Charlene in a few weeks. Olivia then tries to calm him down somehow.

Later, the candidates discover the results of the first test: Ethan comes in first, and Axel is in the back in fiftieth place. As for Solal, Billy, Samia, Vic and David, they are all selected. Cardon’s son wants to congratulate Taysier’s nephew, but the latter makes him realize that they will not be friends. Indeed, the young man thinks that his current behavior is related to the tension between the two families.

At the same time, Samia goes to double room A and serves herself to the client. The young woman seems to be enthralled at the institute, as is Bill, who joins her a few minutes later. They start talking and become fast friends.

At the end of the day, Vic had Greg and Elliot taste chocolate mousses. But when his sister is about to arrive, he decides to run away. Elliot then offers Hortense a taste of the dessert his little sister made, but she refuses. The couple wants to understand the situation between them and then pushes him to make a will. Hortense explains to them that if Vicky seems very sympathetic at first glance, it’s just a trick because he’s actually a monster. For her part, Elliott thinks the competition will ease the tension, but Hortense seems determined to put her little sister in a bind.
