The internet can’t get enough of Taylor Swift’s VMA prom (and Dylan O’Brien’s cameo)

Taylor Swift had a great night at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night and the internet is living her life. Not only was the pop star wearing the cutest dress she has ever seen, but she was enjoying herself enjoying the show, with Dylan O’Brien in tow. The two stars were celebrating the short film / music video directed by Taylor Swift, Too good (10 minute version) (Taylor version), portrayed by O’Brien. It was for good reason, as the song was the big winner of the night.

Like me, people don’t look too big for her dress. Now. It sounds unbelievable. Many fans believe the dress could be an indicator that she is about to re-register her. Reputation album. Her dress is reminiscent of the jewelry she wore in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video and Swift has a habit of throwing Easter eggs at her fans to find out what her next project might be. Without going into speculation, for now I can’t help but look at how beautiful her dress is.

Dylan O’Brian seemed to have as much fun as Swift. The iconic duo killed him by dancing to BLACKPINK’s version of their hit song “Pink Venom”. It seems these two have remained linked after the iconic “All Too Well” music video. I am so happy to see the It’s not good star who supports Taylor on a big night out for her.

BLACKPINK wasn’t the only artist to rock Taylor on Sunday. The “Cardigan” singer went wild during Lizzo’s performance in “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)”. I’m begging these two iconic pop princesses to collaborate on a single from Swift’s new album. Imagine these two breaking up together on a stadium tour. Take my money now.

Swift didn’t want to be arrested. When Nicki Minaj began performing on her hit “Super Bass” in 2010, the pop star couldn’t stop rapping. I’m petitioning for Swift to immediately bring back her rap alter ego, “T-Swizzle”.

Support for Nicki didn’t stop there. When Minaj won the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Swift encouraged other audience members to defend the hip-hop legend. I love to see women supporting women. She received support from Beyoncé when Kanye West sadly interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs (causing a feud between Ye and Swift that lasted for years). I’m glad the singer is paying and showing his support for another icon.

The night had just ended for the “Shake It Off” singer, who took home the night’s biggest prize, Video of the Year, for “All Too Well (10-Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)”. In her acceptance speech (which she completed), she announced that her tenth studio album (her twelfth if her re-recordings are counted), will be released on October 21st. She then announced on Instagram that the album would be titled midnight. It’s so iconic for that, I can’t face it.

I have already started decoding album announcement post to find out what awaits us, Swifties. In the meantime, there will (hopefully) be a lot of Taylor Swift content in the coming months.
