It will undoubtedly be the TV event of the new season in terms of fiction: the mini-series Les Combattantes, which brings together part of the Bazar de la Charité team in front of and behind the camera, will be broadcast on Monday 19 September. at 21:10 on TF1.
Just a few days after the preliminary presentation of the first two episodes at the La Rochelle festival, the audience will be able to discover this great historical fresco tinged with romance, which will be offered for two prices on the front page every Monday. Episodes a week, opposite L’Amour est dans le pré on the M6.
Directed by Alexandre Laurent and produced by Iris Boucher for Quad Drama – a charity market winning team – Les Combattantes is led by Audrey Fleuro, Julie de Bona and Camille Lu, who also re-enter the skins of new characters. American Horror Story Anthology. And for the occasion, they are joined by a fourth headliner: Sofia Esaide.
This highly ambitious and visually stunning mini-series is set in September 1914. For several weeks, the battle has been raging. In a small village in the east of France, a few kilometers from the German zone, four women find themselves in the heart of horror.
Over the course of the series’ eight episodes, we follow Marguerite (Audrey Floro), a Parisian prostitute as mysterious as she is glamorous, who is suspected of espionage. Caroline (Sofia Esaid), the wife of a car factory owner who has gone to the front, finds herself forced to head the family business.
Agnes (Juli de Bona), requisitioned by the superior of a nunnery and converted to a military hospital, questions her life choices. and finally Suzanne (Camille Lou), a young feminist nurse on the run after an abortion gone wrong.
Written by Cécile Lorne and Camille Trainor, in collaboration with Alexandre Lorre, Les Combattantes benefits from a very good cast: Sandrine Bonner, Tom Libby, Cheki Kariou, Laurent Guerra, Yannick Koirat, Florence Loiret-Kay, Grégoire Max Dant, – Fauvel (Skam France), Eden Ducourant (Pour Sarah), Mikaël Mittelstadt (Here It All Begins) and Pascal Hudus round out the cast alongside Audrey Fleroux, Julie de Bona, Sofia Essaide and Camille Lou.
Produced in partnership with Netflix as it was for the charity market, Les Combattantes will be offered for the second time on the streaming platform, although an online date has not yet been announced.
