If it took a few small aesthetic wrinkles, the total recall did not lose its power, which runs through this story of the search for memory, where the typical violence of the Dutch director meets the paranoia that fills the work of the American writer. The film is amazingly inventive, especially visually, in terms of sequences and different creatures.
In addition to the brilliant performance of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we also remember the camp villain played by the charismatic Michael Ironside, as well as the venomous Sharon Stone. It was crowned, among others, the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film, Total recallA commercial and critical success in its time, it currently holds a solid 3.9 out of 5 audience rating on AlloCiné.
