Art, not the film industry, will be on Julianne Moore’s mind for the next 10 days as the Oscar-winning actress takes on her final role as president of the competition jury at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, the first day of Venice 2022, Moore opined that while most discussions of “the future of cinema” focus on the film business, “the most important thing is what is being done” and the stories.
