From this Wednesday, August 31 at 9:10 p.m., TF1 broadcasts a new unaired season of The Good Doctor, which continues the adventures of Asperger’s syndrome doctor Sean Murphy (Freddie Highmore) in San Jose St. Bonaventure.
Season 4 of the series ended last November with several major events on the channel: Leah’s (Paige Sparra) proposal to Shawn, the official signing of the couple Morgan (Fiona Gubelman) and Alex (Will Yun Lee) and the sudden departure. of Dr. Claire Brown (Antonia Thomas), who decided to stay in Guatemala after a humanitarian mission.

A huge change is coming to St. Bonaventure Hospital! The medical facility is bought by Salene Morrison (Rachel Bay Jones), who makes a notable arrival as a patient. He will also make several changes after taking office — much to the chagrin of doctors — to boost profits.
The death of a child, the real causes of which the Morrison company will try to hide, will soon be the last straw for the doctors at the hospital. As a result, Dr. Lim (Christina Chang) will begin a crusade against the new director, who in return will not hesitate to demote her as chief of surgery.

A maneuver that would not sit well with Murphy, who would thus question their relationship.
