Seventeen years after the broadcast of its last episode, the cult series that made M6 a success in France is preparing to return to air in Spain in the form of a sequel, which will be called UPA Next and will see the return of four main characters. New Adventures: Lola (Beatriz Luengo), Silvia (Monica Cruz), Roberto (Miguel Angel Muñoz) and Carmen Aranci (Lola Herrera).
Shooting in recent weeks, this highly anticipated revival does not yet have a release date on ATRESplayer PREMIUM. Thus, Silvia and Carmen will be at the center of the first episode of Historias de UPA Next, in which the future of the Academy of Performing Arts will be at stake.
After that, fans will be able to find a new story every week. A chance to discover Lola’s life with her family in Barcelona, learn more about Roberto’s stay in Miami, witness the hiring of new teachers such as Sira (Marta Guerras) and Luiso (Lucas Velasco), or meet newcomers Lala (Almudena Salorti), Tara (Carina Soro), Suso ( Alex Medina) and Dario (Nuno Gallego).
The release date of UPA Next is yet to be announced by ATRESplayer PREMIUM, but it’s a safe bet that the new series will air on the heels of these unpublished short stories that will have nostalgic fans drooling.
In France, the complete Un, dos, tres is available on the Salto platform. But it’s still unclear which channel or platform will air the revival. The case will follow.
