Disney + has released the poster and trailer for the second season of “The Mysterious Society Benedict,” a children’s adventure series based on the bestselling novel by Trenton Lee Stewart. The preview reveals the new mystery and the preview date of the new episodes.
The production follows the story of four talented orphans who, after winning a competition for a scholarship, are selected and recruited by the eccentric Mr. Benedict (Tony Hale, from “Veep”) to save the world from a global crisis. known as “The Emergency” – and that it is the fault of its evil twin.
In the second season, Benedict and his assistant, Number Two, are kidnapped, leaving clues to the children to save them from the clutches of their great nemesis.
Developed by screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (both of “Cop in Trouble”) and directed by director James Bobin (“The Muppets”), the series features a child cast of Emmy DeOliveira (“Flacked”), Seth Carr (” Squad of Knights “), little Russian Marta Kessler (” Survive “) and newcomer Mystic Inscho, as well as Kristen Schaal (” The Last Man on Earth “) as number two.
With eight more episodes, the second season will debut on October 26.
