A new “Hellraiser” is coming very soon. The first images from the David Bruckner film have been released, revealing the look of the new Pinhead, played by Jamie Clayton.
One of the most famous monsters of horror cinema is back. Pinhead, the iconic character from the Hellraiser franchise, is known for his white face that is full of studs. Clive Barker’s reboot is expected to hit American platform Hulu on October 7, and the first images have been released.
The film is directed by David Bruckner, director of The Prey of a Shadow – which hit theaters last year – and The Ritual, available on Netflix. Not a sequel or remake, this new Hellraiser expands the spirit of the saga that began in 1987. The story tells about the fate of a young woman who struggles with her addictions and discovers a strange mechanical cube. The object will open doors to another world.
In anticipation of the inevitable trailer, the first footage reveals a new look at the Cenobites – these sadistic creatures from a parallel dimension. But first of all, the new Pinhead face, which this time will be a woman. The monster is portrayed by Jamie Clayton, seen in Sense8 and The L Word.

In the United States, Hellraiser is rated R – not recommended for people under 17. The film is not yet known in France. As for Prey, Logic would like it to land on Disney+, but no official announcement has been made yet.
