The series “The Crown” has found the performers of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who will be introduced in the next sixth season of the attraction.
The Netflix production cast actor Rufus Kampa to play the prince in his teens and Ed McVey to play him in his early adulthood. Kate Middleton’s character will be played by Meg Bellamy.
The three are new to the screens. Although he is the youngest, Kampa has an extensive theatrical career. McVey, meanwhile, graduated from London Drama School in 2021. And Bellamy has made cameo appearances in amateur films.
This will be the trio’s first work on television.
The plot of the sixth season will deal with two moments in the life of Prince William. In the first, he has to deal with the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
The second moment will show his relationship with Kate, since they met when they were studying History of Art at the University of St Andrews, in Fife, Scotland, in 2001.
Married since 2011, the two are now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Filming for the sixth season of “The Crown” will begin later this year, but no date has been set for the premiere.
