In an interview with Empire Podcast, Radcliffe talked about how the idea came about and how he wants to take it to the screens. “I have an idea for something I’ve written. I hope to direct. It will be in a few years, because the next 18 months at least are pretty much accounted for.”

Radcliffe continued, “People always say, ‘Write what you know.’

the actor of Lost City (2022) also revealed that he does not plan to act in his own production. “I would just like to direct, for two reasons – partly because I’ve never done it before and I don’t want to think about both at the same time. But more practically, because when you direct a movie, you have to watch it a thousand times after editing, and no part of me wants to see my face so much. I will skip this.”

Lost City

Described as a new “version” of Tudo por uma Emerald (1984), Lost City (2022) revolves around a reclusive novelist (SandraBullock) who believes that nothing would be worse than touring his latest book with the model (Channing tatum) that illustrates the cover. Everything changes when the author and the model suffer an attempted kidnapping, and, as a result, are taken on a surprising adventure in the jungle.
