Elvis – HBO Max
The film portrays the relationship between Elvis Presley, played by Austin Butler, and Colonel Tom Parke, played by Tom Hanks. Purity – Globoplay
Inspired by a story, the film tells the saga of Purity (Dira Paes), a single mother who lives with her son, Abel (Matheus Abreu), in a poor region of Maranhão. Dissatisfied with the life they lead, the young man decides to leave his job to look for work in a well-known mine, with the promise of giving a better life to his matriarch. After months without news of her son, Purity decides to go in search of the boy. Directed by Renato Barbieri.
Samaritan – Amazon Prime Video
13-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon Walton) suspects that his mysterious and lonely neighbor Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone) is actually a hidden legend in plain sight. Twenty-five years ago, super-powered vigilante Samaritan of Granite City was presumed dead after a warehouse brawl with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe the Samaritan died in the fire, but some in town, like Sam, hope he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam decides to convince his neighbor to come out to save the city from ruin.
Hidden agent – Netflix
Based on Mark Greaney’s book, the film features Ryan Gosling as a young man recruited from prison by Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton) to become a covert agent for the CIA’s Sierra program. But now the show is over at the agency and Denny Carmichael (Regé-Jean Page) will do whatever it takes to take out Six, sending in assassin mercenary Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans). Also in the cast are Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton and Wagner Moura, and directed by the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe,
Continuity in Love – Netflix
In the plot, hardworking Cassie (Sofia Carson) is an employee of a night bar in Austin, Texas. Her desire, however, is to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter. Then comes Luke (Nicholas Galitzine), a Marine with a set date to embark for work, a role she craves because it identifies with the discipline of military service. For convenience, they marry, but the tragedy turns this facade relationship into reality.
Light year – Disney +
The adventure tells the origin of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy in the Toy Story franchise. The film revolves around the legendary space ranger after being stranded on a hostile planet 4.2 million light years from Earth with his commander and crew. Together with a group of ambitious recruits and his charismatic robot cat, Sox, the character tries to find a way back home through space and time. However, the arrival of Zurg, a massive presence with an army of ruthless robots and a mysterious plan, will complicate matters and threaten Buzz’s mission.
Thirteen Lives The Rescue – Prime Video
The production is based on a real-life case of a children’s soccer team trapped in a cave in Tham Luang, Thailand in 2018. Directed by Ron Howard and starring Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell and Joel Edgerton, the film tells the story of story of this difficult rescue. The drama shows what it was like to rescue the 12 boys who, along with their coach, were trapped for more than two weeks.
The predator: hunting – Star +
The action thriller is the latest installment in the Predator series. Set in the world of the Comanche Nation in the 1700s, the film tells the story of a young warrior determined to protect her people from imminent danger. She manages to chase and confront her prey, which is actually a highly evolved alien predator with advanced technology. The result is a brutal confrontation between opponents.
Luck – Apple +
The animation tells the story of Sam Greenfield, the most unfortunate person in the world who finds a lucky coin and suddenly everything in his life starts to go right. However, he ends up losing this coin and discovers the Land of Fortune, curious, the character decides to explore the place. The problem is that humans are not allowed into the place and their only chance is to join the magical creatures that live there. Directed by Emmy Peggy Holmes.
Secret Headquarters – Paramount +
The film tells the story of Charlie Kincaid (Walker Scobell), a boy who accidentally discovers a secret headquarters in the basement of his home with his friends. From there, he begins to suspect that his absent father (Owen Wilson) may be leading a double life. The young man and his colleagues will have to defend the hideout while the most dangerous villains attack, so that they can save the world.
