The 19th season of Grey’s Anatomy promises to put you under the sign of second chances. ABC, the channel that airs medical series across the Atlantic, has just released the first trailer for this next series of episodes, which will begin on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the United States.
In these never-before-seen excerpts, Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital is transformed by new recruits, aiming to once again become the premier training center for tomorrow’s great doctors.
We find the Doctors we’ve followed and adored for almost two decades (Meredith, Bailey, Richard, Owen, Teddy, Joe, Amelia…), but we also get to know these little youngsters who are determined to learn everything from their brilliant elders.
Lucas is played by Nico Terho, a student determined to prove himself to excel, himself from a large family of doctors. Jules, the impulsive one, is played by Adelaide Kane (Reign, seen on somersault). She was born into a hippie family, in which she is the most mature… Grey’s Anatomy season 19 trailer also hints that she has already slept with Link!
Mika is played by Midori Francis. Jokes, she comes from a large family and is used to being underappreciated…but she turned it into a strength! Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) slips into the shoes of Blue, a brilliant and impatient intern whose generosity has its limits when competition gets involved.

Finally, Alexis Floyd lends her qualities to Simone, an intelligent and dignified girl who did not want to work here because of her painful past with the hospital… For their guidance, these young doctors can certainly count on Meredith. Making them take their first steps in Gray Sloan.
Because yes, Ellen Pompeo will definitely be in the first episode of Grey’s Anatomy season 19. As previously announced, the star of the show will be filming the stunts and only “Limited capacity“This year, in just eight episodes.
Indeed, the actor asked for more free time to devote himself to another project. He’ll be producing and appearing in the credits of a miniseries he’s developing for the Hulu platform… is he leaving (a little) to (better) return to Grey’s Anatomy season 20 if renewed? We hope!
