HBO Max has released the poster and subtitled trailer for the third season of “Pennyworth”, which takes a leap in time to show Batman’s future butler in a psychedelic storyline from the late 1960s, facing a drug capable of control minds, as well as supervillains.
“Pennyworth” follows the youth of Alfred Pennyworth (played by Jack Bannon) and shows how he got involved with Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) and Martha Kane (Emma Paetz), Batman’s future parents.
Developed by Bruno Heller, creator of “Gotham”, the series began its storyline in England in the early 1960s, but will have a five-year jump in new episodes, which take on more influence from 007 – or rather, from parodies. of 007 of the time. The inventions of Lucius Fox (Simon Manyonda) also gain greater equivalence to Q’s gadgets.
New episodes premiered on October 6th.
