A video of Styles spitting on Pine went viral on Monday 5th. The ‘spotting’ took place during the 79th Venice International Film Festival, at the world premiere of Do not worry deara film in which the actors act together.
In the images that have circulated on the internet, the singer and actor can be seen approaching Pine to sit next to him in the Great Hall. Styles moves quickly in his place and makes a slight “poo” motion with his mouth, suggesting that he may have spat it out. Pine looks into his lap, stops the applause, shakes his head and smiles as if there was some kind of joke between the two stars.

On Tuesday 6, the Harry Styles team denied the information to the newspaper The Guardian. Chris Pine’s press secretary, on the other hand, pointed out that the story was “fabricated” to fuel a silly and non-existent drama.
“This is a ridiculous story, a complete invention, and the result of a weird online illusion that is clearly misleading and allows for silly speculation. Just to be clear, Harry Styles didn’t spit on Chris Pine. There’s nothing but respect between these two men., and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create a drama that simply does not exist. “
