Making a movie with Julia Roberts… that’s the ultimate goal of this young screenwriter, who travels to New York to try to make this dream come true. Discover the trailer for My Hero, Noémi Lefort’s first feature film with Chloë Jouanes.
What if this young French director managed to convince Julia Roberts to star in his film? This is the starting point of my hero Noemi Lefort’s first feature film. For this comedy, he was surrounded by Chloe Juanette, Pascal Arbillot and Louise Koldef. A movie with a very “Sex and the City” atmosphere, with its gang spirit between lovers, to conquer the “Big Apple”.
The pitch is as follows: Alex dreamed of only one thing from an early age: making movies. But her daily life in Rouen is far from Hollywood glamour. Overprotected by his mother Matilda, he hopes to enter a prestigious film school in New York. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned and his dreams are severely shattered. Refusing to accept fate, Alex decides to travel to the Big Apple with the help of his eccentric Aunt Juliet for a crazy project: pitching his screenplay to Julia Roberts. Soon joined by Matilda, this New York adventure marks the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the three women and brings them closer than ever.
